Prescription Policy
How we verify every prescription-only order, so you get the right medicine at the right dose - every time.
1. Introduction
Criticalkare Pharma dispenses prescription-only ('Rx') medicines strictly in accordance with a valid prescription issued by a licensed physician. This policy explains what counts as a valid prescription, how to submit one, and how we review and verify it before any Rx medicine is dispensed.
This policy exists to protect your safety - not to slow you down. Every step below is designed so a licensed pharmacist confirms the medicine, strength, and dosage are appropriate before your order ships.
2. When a Prescription Is Required
Any medicine marked as prescription-required on its product page - this includes essentially all oncology, immunotherapy, and other specialty medicines on our site - cannot be ordered without a valid prescription from a licensed physician.
Some non-prescription (OTC) products may still ask for basic health information so our pharmacist team can flag potential interactions or contraindications before dispatch.
3. How to Submit Your Prescription
You can upload a clear photo or scan of your prescription through our secure Prescription Upload page, share it via WhatsApp with our pharmacist team, or attach it during checkout.
A valid prescription should clearly show: the patient's name, the medicine name and strength, dosage and duration, the prescribing physician's name and registration/license number, the date of issue, and the physician's signature or clinic stamp.
4. Pharmacist Review & Verification
Every prescription is reviewed by a licensed pharmacist before an Rx order is confirmed. We check that the prescribed medicine, strength, and quantity match what's in your cart, and we may contact you or your prescribing physician if anything is unclear or appears inconsistent.
Orders are held - not cancelled - while we complete this review. We will always reach out first if we need clarification rather than silently rejecting your order.
5. Validity, Expiry & Refills
Prescriptions are generally accepted for the validity period set by the prescribing physician, or a reasonable clinical default where none is specified. Expired prescriptions cannot be used to dispense new orders.
For ongoing treatments, you can submit a new prescription (or a renewed one from your physician) ahead of time so a refill isn't delayed. Our team can send you a reminder before your current prescription's coverage runs out if you'd like.
6. Unclear, Invalid, or Missing Prescriptions
If a prescription is illegible, incomplete, expired, or doesn't match the ordered medicine, we will contact you to request a corrected copy before proceeding. We will never dispense a prescription-only medicine without a valid, verifiable prescription, regardless of order status or payment.
7. International Orders & Import Regulations
We ship to patients in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Germany, Canada, and across Europe, among other countries. Prescription and personal-import regulations for medicines vary by destination country, and it remains the patient's and prescribing physician's responsibility to ensure an order complies with local import rules.
Where needed for customs, we can provide an invoice, and batch/manufacturing documentation alongside your prescription record.
8. Confidentiality of Your Prescription
Your prescription and any health information you share with us is handled with the same safeguards described in our Privacy Policy - reviewed only by our licensed pharmacist team and never sold or shared for marketing purposes.
9. Questions About This Policy
If you have questions about a specific prescription, a pending order, or this policy in general, reach out to our pharmacist team at contactus@criticalkarepharma.com and we'll get back to you promptly.
