What is Darzalex (Daratumumab)?
Infusion reactions are more common on early doses — this is given in a clinic, not at home, unless the specialist program says otherwise.
Daratumumab can interfere with blood-bank testing. Patients should carry an alert card if their hematologist provided one.
IV 100mg/400mg vials and Faspro 1800mg are not 1:1 swaps without a protocol change.
Class: Anti-CD38 monoclonal antibody. Janssen (originator).
Typical uses (as prescribed)
- Newly diagnosed and relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma (as indicated)
- Used with other myeloma medicines per protocol
