Educational game only — not a diagnosis, screening test, or treatment plan. If you think this is an emergency, call local emergency services now.

Heart attack signs the public is taught to recognise

Heart-attack education usually includes pressure, squeezing, or pain in the chest; pain spreading to the arm, neck, jaw, or back; shortness of breath; a cold sweat; nausea; and light-headedness.

Women, older adults, and people with diabetes may notice unusual fatigue, nausea, or shortness of breath with less classic chest crushing. That does not make it ‘not a heart attack’.

Heartburn can mimic chest discomfort. If you cannot tell, treat it as an emergency. Do not drive yourself if you feel close to passing out.

This game covers

  • Classic chest pressure
  • Jaw, arm, back pain
  • Symptoms in women
  • Heartburn look-alikes
